| Raymond M. Holt was a pioneering computer designer and businessman in Silicon Valley. From 1968-1970, Holt developed the first microprocessor chip set for Garrett AiResearch's Central Air Data Computer for the F-14 Tomcat. He was co-founder with Manny Lemas of Microcomputer Associates, Incorporated, later known as Synertek Systems. Ray is part Cherokee Indian. His great-great grandparents were subjected to the forced Indian removal known as the Trail of Tears ending at Indian Territory, known today as Oklahoma. Mr Holt attended Dominguez High School in Compton, CA. University of Idaho, Moscow, ID, California Polytechnic State University, Pomona, CA, and Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, CA. Ray Holt is currently donating his talents to Christian ministries and churches by helping them with computer problems, Internet web pages, and teaching low-income students engineering and robotics. |
